H-1B Lottery Results FY 2025 Released

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has confirmed that it has completed the random selection process for H-1B registrations submitted during the designated registration window for FY 2025.

The results of the H-1B lottery are now being released to sponsoring employers through the myUSCIS system. Employers should log into their account to determine if any of their beneficiaries were successful in the registration phase.

Where a beneficiary has been selected, they now have until June 30, 2024, to file their full petition.

USCIS also confirmed that the full annual H-1B cap quota of 85,000 was reached, although the agency has yet to release the exact figure or indicate whether there were substantially more registrations made than visas available.

Should the number of successful H-1B cap petitions fail to reach the 85,000 H-1B annual limit during the petition period, further lottery rounds may be conducted until the annual quota is reached.
